Veterinary Surgeon β Full-Time Opportunity
My client based in Bedfordshire islooking for a confident and motivated Veterinary Surgeon to become part of a supportive, progressive practice that values clinical excellence, teamwork, and work-life balance.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced small animal vet who enjoys a varied caseload with plenty of surgical involvement. You'll work alongside a collaborative team in a well-equipped practice where professional development is actively encouraged.
The Opportunity
- Full-time position based on a 4-day working week
- Varied caseload with a strong focus on surgery
- Shared rota covering consultations, surgery, inpatient care and emergency work
- Fixed weekday off each week
- Approximately six Saturday day shifts per year
- Shared out-of-hours commitment until 11:00pm, with overnight responsibility limited to inpatient care
- Fixed night duty every other week
- Around six weekends and one bank holiday included in the annual rota
What They Are Looking For
- Experienced Veterinary Surgeon with solid surgical skills
- Previous out-of-hours experience is beneficial but not essential
- A team player with excellent communication skills and a patient-focused approach
- Passionate about delivering high standards of clinical care
