We have an exciting opportunity for a Paraplanner to join our Wealth Management Team based at the Stamford office. The role involves preparing Suitability Reports and processing new and existing business primarily dealing with Investments, Pensions, Trusts and IHT Planning, with some involvement in Equity Release and Protection.
Location, Hours & Salary
- Location: Stamford, UK
- Hours: 9am – 5:15pm Monday to Friday
- Salary: Dependent on experience
Responsibilities
- Work in the Wealth Management Support Team reporting to the Compliance Manager and Head of Support.
- Prepare Suitability Reports and process business in accordance with firm policy and FCA regulations.
- Maintain the case management system accurately.
- Support compliance and anti‑money‑laundering requirements.
- Provide administrative support to IFAs and senior staff.
- Use cash‑flow modelling tools and work on project‑based tasks as required.
- Occasionally work anti‑social hours to ensure client satisfaction.
Candidate Profile
Essential Experience
- Strong GCSE and A‑Level results.
- Relevant prior experience with Investment Bonds, Pensions, Trusts and IHT planning.
- Driving licence and access to a vehicle.
Desirable Experience
- Diploma‑qualified or currently working towards a Diploma qualification.
- 2:1 or above in a relevant finance, economics, or law degree.
- Experience in Equity Release and Protection.
- Competence in Intelligent Office, IRESS The Exchange and cash‑flow forecasting tools.
