We have an exciting opportunity for an Independent Financial Adviser to join our Wealth Management Team, based at our Grantham or Newark office. We are seeking an experienced individual who is able to provide advice across a full range of financial matters including Investments and Pensions and deliver an efficient, comprehensive service to clients, maintaining the highest standards of client care. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, with the ability to develop, manage and take ownership of client relationships. Although the role will be primarily based at our Grantham and Newark offices, there may be a requirement to support other offices. A full, current driving licence and use of your own vehicle (with appropriate business insurance) is essential.

Department: Wealth Management Department
Hours: 9am – 5.15pm Monday to Friday
Salary: Depending on Experience
Key Responsibilities:
- To provide an ongoing service to existing clients.
- To work with Partners and Fee Earners to develop new financial services business.
- Review clients’ portfolios in accordance with ongoing service agreements.
- Clearly identify client needs, analyse and research the market in order to make suitable recommendations.
- Maintain performance standards.
- To use the Firm's case management system and ensure it is kept up to date.
- To ensure business is conducted compliantly and efficiently.
- To ensure work complies with the Firms policies, FCA regulations and best practice.
- To always put the interests of the client first.
- To co-operate fully with the firm’s Compliance Manager and Money Laundering Reporting Officer.
- To be prepared to work anti-social hours when this is necessary to ensure client satisfaction.
- To promote the good name of the Firm and profession.
Candidate Profile:
Essential Experience:
- A diploma level financial services qualification.
- Statement of Professional Standing from an approved Accredited Body.
- Detailed understanding of Investments, Pensions and Inheritance Tax Planning.
- High level of competency in using Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Desirable Experience:
- Degree (or equivalent experience).
- Trust Investment experience.
- Competent in using case management systems.
- Clear understanding of confidentiality/Data Protection.
