Chattertons are working with one of the fastest growing commercial real estate investment & development companies in Central London. Our client focuses on identifying high potential core + and value add office assets and maximising their value through redevelopment, refurbishment and strategic asset management. Our client's portfolio consists of West End and City offices, and they are well capitalised to grow this at a rapid rate. Over the next 18 months, they have aspirations to double their portfolio size. Our client operates as a lean, flat, team structure. This is an environment for people who want to be close to all aspects of the deal beyond their immediate remit. THE ROLE
This incoming development professional will take ownership of the development function across the portfolio. Working alongside the senior team, you will lead the entire development process, driving the commercial outcome of each project. This is a multi-faceted role. You will have the opportunity to be involved in wider business processes.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Experience
- 5+ years of development experience in UK real estate
- Development management experience is the preference; project management or construction pedigree is a strong plus
- Technical and commercial competency
- Genuine technical knowledge of development and construction
- Commercial acumen – a clear understanding of where value is created in a building
- Experience leading cradle to grave development processes
- Personal qualities
- Proactive, entrepreneurial, commercially minded, and self-directed. Ability to make decisions within a small team
- Comfortable moving between strategic decisions and hands-on delivery detail
