Who We Are:

At Chatterbox, we build technology that does more than generate clicks - we’re here to transform lives. Our language learning platform connects marginalised yet highly-skilled professionals from refugee and marginalised communities with global learners at organisations like BNP Paribas and the British Red Cross. We’re a fast-moving, socially driven startup on a mission to make the global workforce more inclusive, one language lesson at a time.

Who You Are:

You’re a commercially-minded, scrappy demand generation marketer with a proven track record of making big things happen on small budgets.

You’re fluent in English (native or near-native), and you write compelling copy that makes readers sit up, listen, and take action.

You have deep experience in startup and outbound marketing (via email and LinkedIn), and you’re confident building campaigns from scratch, without relying on paid ads.

You’re energised by startup life: fast-paced, lean, and full of opportunity. You’re an individual contributor who thrives in remote teams and knows how to balance creativity with data-driven iteration.

Role Overview:

We’re hiring a demand gen marketer to help us attract, engage, and convert leads through targeted email and LinkedIn outreach. This is a full-time, fully remote position with a monthly gross salary of £1,800. We are especially interested in candidates based in Portugal but open to the right candidate from other locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and execute demand gen marketing campaigns
  • Produce supporting content assets, including short-form video, graphics, or motion snippets
  • Continuously experiment with content, journeys, format, timing, and tech to drive up conversion rates
  • Report on KPIs - chiefly meetings booked for our sales team

Must Haves:

  • 3+ years of experience working remotely, with B2B/SaaS products and in startups
  • Proven ability to generate pipeline without paid ads
  • Excellent copywriting skills in English (native or near-native level)

Nice To Haves:

  • Experience working in EdTech or language learning sectors
  • Fluency in Portuguese, Spanish, or French is a plus but not required

How To Apply:

Absolutely no agencies – we’re looking to hire a full-time individual only.
