As our Integration Lead Developer, you'll drive the organisation's integration capability designing and delivering secure, scalable solutions that connect systems, products and partners. You'll act as the technical authority for APIs, define integration patterns, build reusable components and champion cloud-first (AWS) delivery.

Working hands-on in an Agile environment, you'll modernise legacy systems, support enterprise architecture evolution and collaborate across teams to enable seamless, future-ready connectivity.

What will you be doing?

  • As a technical authority in integration and API design, you'll set the standards that shape how our systems connect defining integration patterns, ensuring architectural consistency and driving secure, scalable solutions across the organisation.
  • You'll stay hands-on with AWS technologies like Lambda, API Gateway, EventBridge and SQS/SNS, building reusable components, frameworks and high-quality code while championing modern engineering practices including CI/CD, automated testing and DevSecOps.
  • You'll lead integration delivery within Agile squads, translating business needs into robust technical solutions and ensuring fast, high-quality execution.
  • As a player-coach, you'll mentor developers, promote API-first thinking and foster a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.
  • With a focus on operational excellence, you'll enhance onboarding, strengthen monitoring and reliability, support incident resolution and drive productivity and delivery velocity all while collaborating closely with stakeholders to shape enterprise-wide integration strategy.

You will bring

  • With strong experience in system integration, API design and distributed systems, you'll work hands-on with AWS technologies, modern iPaaS platforms and event-driven architectures to build secure, high-quality integrations.
  • You'll apply deep knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices, messaging patterns and cloud engineering, backed by skills in GitHub Actions, Terraform and observability tooling to deliver reliable future-ready solutions.
  • You'll thrive in an Agile environment, using your understanding of cloud concepts and engineering best practice to design clean, contract-driven APIs, strengthen security and drive consistency across our integration landscape.
