We are seeking an ambitious and experienced Corporate Partnerships Manager to join our Development team. This is a newly created role with a clear remit: to grow and develop our corporate income through sponsorship, membership and strategic partnerships, helping to support an ambitious programme of cultural activity, exhibitions and events.

About us

Chatsworth House Trust is an independent charity dedicated to the long-term preservation of Chatsworth House, the art collection, garden, woodlands and park for the benefit of everyone. Chatsworth is a place of creativity and community and a driver of positive change. The Development Department is responsible for securing income from corporate sponsors, trusts and foundations, public bodies and individuals to help to drive forward this mission. Chatsworth House Trust has a strong track record in securing corporate support with current and previous partners including Sotheby’s, Rathbones, Selfridges and Gucci.

About the role

Working closely with the Director of Development, you will take the lead in building a strong pipeline of corporate supporters, securing significant sponsorships and developing long‑term partnerships that deliver meaningful value for both the Trust and our partners. From securing sponsorship for high-profile events to developing multi-year strategic relationships, this role offers the opportunity to make a tangible impact on the future success of the organisation. Our cultural and exhibition programme provides a wealth of opportunities for corporate engagement, alongside a calendar of much-loved events including our Country Fair, Christmas celebrations and Festival Season throughout May and June. With several major projects and high-profile events on the horizon, there has never been a better time to join us. You will be responsible for delivering sponsorship and corporate membership income targets, developing a corporate fundraising strategy that matches the ambitions of the Trust and identifying new opportunities for growth. You will create compelling proposals and sponsorship packages, build relationships with prospective and existing partners, and ensure every partnership is delivered to the highest standard. From initial approach through to stewardship, activation and renewal, you will take ownership of the entire relationship journey.

Hours and location

This is a full-time permanent role, working from Chatsworth House, Derbyshire (hybrid and flexible working is available).

About you

You will be a confident and engaging communicator, capable of influencing and inspiring senior stakeholders, and able to demonstrate a successful track record of securing five and six-figure sponsorships. You will understand what motivates corporate partners, whether through corporate social responsibility objectives, brand alignment, employee engagement or wider strategic goals, and be skilled at translating these motivations into successful partnerships. We are looking for a proactive, self‑motivated fundraising professional with significant experience of corporate fundraising, sponsorship and partnership management. You will have a proven ability to secure and manage high-value partnerships, excellent relationship‑building skills and a passion for delivering results. Experience within the arts, culture or heritage sector would be advantageous, but more important is your ability to spot opportunities, think strategically and develop lasting partnerships that support our mission.

Why join us

You’ll join a supportive and friendly Development team within a values‑led organisation that genuinely cares about its people. We offer a range of benefits including a wellbeing calendar of events, an onsite gym and swimming pool, and a Colleague Pass providing free access to Chatsworth for you and your guests, plus discounts across Devonshire Group hotels, shops and restaurants. We are a values‑led organisation. We believe in: always improving, decency, and being inclusive.
