Role Description

This is a part-time, on-site Waiting Staff role based at Chatora City in the City of London.

The role involves welcoming guests, guiding them through the menu, taking food and drink orders, and serving dishes and beverages in a timely, professional manner.

Responsibilities include setting up and clearing tables, maintaining cleanliness in the dining area, and coordinating with the kitchen and bar to ensure smooth service.

The waiting staff will handle payments, respond to guest requests, and support private dining and events as needed, consistently upholding the restaurant’s high standards of hospitality and presentation.

Qualifications

  • Strong Customer Service skills with a focus on attentive, guest-centered hospitality.
  • Experience in Food & Beverage and Food Service environments, ideally in restaurants or similar settings.
  • Clear and professional Communication skills for interacting with guests and colleagues.
  • Basic Cooking or food preparation awareness to understand menu items and ingredients.
  • Previous experience as waiting staff or in front-of-house roles is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and a calm demeanor.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends, depending on business needs.
  • Right to work in the UK and reliable commute to the City of London location.
