Role Description The Assistant Restaurant Manager is a full time, on-site role based at Chatora City in the City of London.
This position supports the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily front-of-house operations, ensuring smooth service during lunch and dinner shifts.
Responsibilities include supervising staff on the floor, coordinating table allocations and reservations, and maintaining high standards of guest experience and service quality.
The role involves assisting with staff scheduling, training new team members, and reinforcing service procedures that reflect the restaurant’s refined yet welcoming atmosphere.
The Assistant Manager also helps monitor food and beverage presentation, addresses guest feedback in real time, and supports events such as private dining and full venue hires.
Strong focus on Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service, with the ability to create a welcoming, attentive dining experience.
Experience with Hiring and onboarding front-of-house staff, including training and performance guidance.
Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with guests, team members, and kitchen staff.
Knowledge of Food & Beverage service standards, including menu familiarity, wine pairing awareness, and presentation expectations.
Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality supervision or management, ideally in a premium or high-volume setting.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business.
