The Assistant Restaurant Manager is a full time, on-site role based at Chatora City in the City of London. This position supports the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily front-of-house operations, ensuring smooth service during lunch and dinner shifts. Responsibilities include:
- Supervising staff on the floor
- Coordinating table allocations and reservations
- Maintaining high standards of guest experience and service quality
- Assisting with staff scheduling and training new team members
- Reinforcing service procedures that reflect the restaurant’s refined yet welcoming atmosphere
- Monitoring food and beverage presentation
- Addressing guest feedback in real time
- Supporting events such as private dining and full venue hires
- Basic reporting and stock checks
- Collaborating with the leadership team on operational improvements
Qualifications include:
- Strong focus on Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service
- Experience with Hiring and onboarding front-of-house staff
- Excellent Communication skills
- Knowledge of Food & Beverage service standards
- Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality supervision or management
- Ability to work flexible hours
