University of Kent Academies Trust is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teacher of Science to join our vibrant community at Chatham Grammar. This is a full time opportunity, with a start date to be agreed with the successful candidate.
We are looking for a dedicated and inspiring Science teacher with strong subject knowledge across Biology, Chemistry and/or Physics, who can spark curiosity and encourage students to think critically about the world around them. You will teach across Key Stages 3-5, delivering engaging and well-structured lessons that support excellent progress and a love of scientific enquiry.
The successful candidate will be confident in delivering practical and theoretical science, assessing student progress effectively, and creating a positive learning environment where all students are challenged and supported to achieve their best. A key part of the role will be helping students connect scientific concepts to real‑world applications and future pathways.
As part of a collaborative and forward‑thinking department, you will contribute to the ongoing development of Science teaching and learning, sharing ideas and engaging in innovative practice. You will also support enrichment opportunities such as science clubs, STEM activities, competitions, trips and wider academic extension.
