The University of Kent Academies Trust is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teacher of Mathematics to join our thriving community at Chatham Grammar. This is a flexible opportunity (0.6-1.0 FTE), with the start date to be agreed with the successful candidate.

We are looking for a passionate and well-qualified teacher with strong subject knowledge in Mathematics who can inspire curiosity, confidence and a genuine enjoyment of the subject across Key Stages 3-5. The successful candidate will bring energy, clarity and creativity to their teaching, ensuring students develop both fluency and a deep understanding of mathematical concepts.

You will be confident in planning and delivering well-structured, engaging lessons, assessing progress effectively, and creating a classroom environment where all students are supported and challenged. Making mathematics meaningful through real-world application and problem-solving will be central to your approach.

Working within a collaborative and forward-thinking department, you will contribute to the continued development of high-quality teaching and learning, sharing best practice and engaging in innovative approaches that raise achievement.
