We are seeking an enthusiastic, warm and friendly professional with a passion for the hospitality industry and ensuring that guests are well looked after overnight.
- Engage in a handover process with the day staff at the beginning and end of shifts.
- Close front gates at the end of the day and re-open them the next morning.
- Conduct security checks around the hotel throughout the night, including walking around the property as well as monitoring security cameras.
- Tidy and clean the guest areas.
- Collect breakfast order sheets and send to F&B department.
- Complete any guest requests such as shoe-shining and night menu orders.
- Run end of day reports and distribute them to Heads of Department.
- Prepare billing for guests due to check out.
- Organise and prepare billing for any newspaper requests.
- Conduct any requested wake-up calls.
- Provide information to guests as required.
- Assist with guests’ luggage if required.
- Keep the reception area clean and tidy.
£ per hour 16 hours across 2 nights per week, plus the opportunity to provide holiday cover for staff.
You will be an excellent communicator and listener with a creative and positive attitude and the ability to address any of our guests’ requirements. You will hold a full driving license and be able to assist guests with parking their cars, when needed. Strong IT Skills (some experience of Opera Front Office System is desirable).
