Trainee Parts Sales Representative (Ipswich)

Chassis Cab aims to provide our customers with a first class, reliable service, which reflects our standing as market leader as a main dealer for the supply of DAF Truck and in the provision of a second to none after sales.
An exciting opportunity has become available at our Ipswich Dealership for a Trainee Parts Sales Executive. Due to expansion and with our future looking extremely promising we are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate candidate who will be a great addition to our team.
Our IMI accredited 12 month development programme will equip you with the skills and knowledge combined with “on-the-job” experience working within our dealer network. You will have the support of a dedicated DAF mentor to ensure you have the best start and as part of our ongoing commitment to develop your career.
Job Role
- To develop new PACCAR Parts business whilst developing skill set via the Parts Sales Executive programme
- To win new DAF & TRP business with opening and developing new accounts whilst developing new opportunities with existing customers
- To identify and act on market trends and opportunities developing sales campaigns and actions
- To liaise with Manufacturer and suppliers and use the sales tools to achieve the best sales growth outcome.
Key Accountabilities
- Identify and win new business both DAF & TRP
- Work with Manufacturer parts marketing campaigns, product and customer incentive, programmes
- Use and maintain detailed visit reports along with maintaining CRM utilising an agreed system (Sales- i, Voyager etc). Using the system to identify product gaps and opportunities.
- To take responsibility for generating your own leads, producing reports for management and manufacturers to ensure all stakeholders are informed of potential, new and existing customers.
- Identification of competitor’s customers, fleet details and revenue potential.
- Develop a good understanding of the competition and market pricing
- At all times maintain high standards in line with working with the market leader ensuring compliance with all local and international policies
- Ability to learn and implement complex programme

- IT literate and able to use Microsoft and social media platforms
- Ability to learn manufacturer systems
