Chassis Cab is a family run business that holds the award winning DAF Truck franchise for East Anglia. Chassis Cab aims to provide our customers with a first class, reliable service, which reflects our standing as market leader as a main dealer for the supply of DAF Truck and in the provision of a second to none after sales. We are looking to recruit an experienced Parts Advisor at our depot in Ipswich. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and passionate who will be a great addition to our team.
Your key responsibilities:
- Effectively advise customers of their parts requirements either using skill and knowledge or computer programs
- Take orders over the telephone, email and sales front counter
- Prepare orders for the customers and workshop
- Place orders with suppliers and update the customer/workshop of any news on the parts
- Advise and supply parts over the phone, sales counter and to workshop technicians
- Maintain stock control
- Maintain marketing display areas by keeping them up to date with the latest product range
Qualifications and experience required:
- Maintain a professional and helpful attitude at all times
- Be computer literate
- Be passionate about delivering excellent customer service
- Have excellent communication skills
- Driving licence is required
- HGV and/or Trailer Industry knowledge & experience will be advantageous but not essential. Market leading manufacturer training will be provided.
Hours of work:
- Monday to Friday 40 hours per week - 08:00 to 17:00
- Saturdays (8am β 12noon) on a rota basis
- Nightshift holiday cover on a rota basis
- FLT licence would be advantageous
