The predicted salary is between 28350 - 34650 £ per year.

The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting our workshop operation, primarily carrying out vehicle collections and deliveries and moving vehicles to and from our workshop for servicing, maintenance and repair.

The role will include

  • Collecting and delivering vehicles to and from customers.
  • Moving vehicles around the site and workshop safely and efficiently.
  • Assisting with vehicle loading and unloading where required.
  • Assisting with brake testing and workshop vehicle movements.
  • Carrying out general workshop housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Providing a professional and friendly service to customers.

This is a varied role within a busy commercial vehicle workshop, so the ideal candidate will be someone who is reliable, practical and happy to get involved in different aspects of the operation.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who

  • Holds a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence (two year minimum experience required)
  • Has good communication and customer service skills.
  • Has a professional and friendly manner.
  • Is reliable, organised and able to work independently.
  • Has a good understanding of vehicle safety and workshop environments.
  • Is comfortable working as part of a busy team.

Desirable but not essential

Forklift licence - if you do not hold you must be willing to be trained to operate.

The company will support and provide opportunities for you to complete the required training hours to keep your Driver CPC qualification up to date.

Hours of work: 16:00 – 00:00 Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)
