Chasewood Electrical Services are looking for experienced Electricians to join our growing team working on a long-term Power Resilience (PAPR) project across the UK.
This is not a short-term job or a few weeks of work. We have an ongoing programme of installations providing consistent, scheduled work with genuine longevity for the right electricians.
The Work
You’ll be working on telecommunications power resilience installations, including:
- Generator and AMF/changeover installations
- AC distribution and associated electrical works
- Generator connections and control cabling
- Installation and modification of distribution equipment
- Priority load and essential supply arrangements
- Testing, inspection and certification
- Working from site-specific drawings, designs and installation specifications
- Working alongside civils, generator and telecoms teams
- Able to think and problem-solve
The work is predominantly on telecommunications sites, so experience in this environment is useful, but strong commercial/industrial electrical experience will also be considered.
What We’re Looking For
We're looking for electricians who:
- Hold a recognised Level 3 Electrical qualification
- Have 18th Edition
- Have proven experience working independently on commercial/industrial electrical installations
- Can read drawings and follow technical specifications
- Take pride in doing the job properly and right first time
- Understand the importance of testing, documentation and site quality
- Are comfortable working away from home when required
- Have a good attitude and can work as part of a professional team
- Hold a valid ECS/JIB card or equivalent
- Telecoms pre-qualifications: Rooftop, RF, First Aid, Fixed Ladder, Manual Handling
- DBS or NPPV3 would be an advantage
- Inspection & Testing / 2391 and telecoms or generator experience.
The project covers sites across the UK, with work allocated geographically wherever possible.
Travel and overnight stays will be required, depending on your location and the work programme.
