Now, we're happy to offer you an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team as an Accounts Assistant in our Elephant & Castle, London office. Let's talk about the role. It involves:
- Import new deals, renewals, and re-lets into the system.
- Process tenant refunds and action rent increases as required.
- Handle Landlord statement queries in a timely manner.
- Post new tenancy invoices and liaise with suppliers regarding payments.
- Assist in reviewing and processing rental payments to Landlords, ensuring updated statements of account are sent.
- Support telephone and written queries from Landlords, Tenants, and company staff.
- Assist in reviewing and processing new move-in files, including documentation review and Landlord commission calculations.
- Support credit control by assisting with Tenant and Landlord arrears chasing in line with company procedures.
- Process renewal and re-let accounts, including account adjustments, commission recalculations, and refunding overpaid amounts where necessary.
- Compile income/expenditure reports for clients for tax purposes.
- Provide cover for rent protection and Accounts Receivable during holiday periods.
- Handle client monies banking, receipting (bank and credit card transactions), and reconciliations.
- Perform general administrative duties, including filing, answering telephones, and supporting the general office environment.

- Proven knowledge of latest Estate Agency regulations and industry best practices.

- Numerate and excellent communication skills at all levels to assist and deal with clients, the majority of which are based overseas.
- PC literate with experience in using Reapit Software a plus.
- Time flexible and proven experience working as part of a busy team that is driven to provide excellent customer services externally and internally.
