The Role

This role is responsible for leading the development and execution of UK marketing strategy for ophthalmology brands, driving sales, market share, and brand growth. The role will also play a key part in expanding channel strategy, including the development of digital and e-commerce platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead development and delivery of UK brand strategy and annual plans
  • Translate strategy into effective campaigns, tools, and messaging for commercial teams
  • Support product adoption across ophthalmologists, eye care specialists, and relevant healthcare stakeholders
  • Develop campaigns across digital, in-clinic, events, and e-commerce channels (e.g. Amazon)
  • Identify opportunities to grow and optimise online sales channels
  • Generate market insights to inform strategy and positioning
  • Build relationships with key opinion leaders and relevant stakeholders in ophthalmology
  • Monitor competitor activity and adapt strategy accordingly

About You

  • Experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, or healthcare marketing
  • Experience working within or alongside ophthalmology or specialist clinical environments would be advantageous
  • Strong commercial mindset with the ability to define strategy and deliver execution
  • Experience developing campaigns, messaging, and brand positioning
  • Confident communicator, comfortable working with internal teams and external stakeholders
