Senior Key Account Manager – Osteoporosis and Respiratory – London, Kent, Sussex, Essex, Beds, Bucks & Herts
Our client brings innovative, value added, specialty branded medicines to the UK that can provide benefits to patients and populations whilst reducing the cost burden to the NHS and helping our healthcare system to curb waste.

They work closely with stakeholders across the NHS to identify real-world problems, and develop value-based solutions that support the delivery of efficient and cost-effective healthcare.
As a Senior Key Account Manager, you will lead in the creation and payer implementation of account plans whilst effectively interacting with payers, clinicians and other key decision makers and influencers across primary and secondary care.
Key responsibilities include:
- Identification of areas of customer/account alignment around the relevant brand and disease areas, and plans strategy to approach key stakeholders ensuring advocacy development based on local environmental knowledge and healthcare delivery
- Delivery of agreed payer and clinician facing actions in the local account plan
- Influencing key stakeholders by delivering compelling brand value proposition to ensure optimal formulary and guidelines positions across the portfolio
- Develop schemes of work that support local implementation of formulary adoption
- Shape the local health economy to design and procure services that improve diagnosis and management of disease within our portfolio and customers priorities
- Ensure sales targets are met
- Use a multi-channel campaign to ensure appropriate customer uptake and awareness
Candidate experience required:
- ABPI qualified
- Up to date knowledge NHS, Commercial & Regulatory environment
- High level of analytical skills
- Strong knowledge of local environment and patient pathways
- Clear understanding and experience of Account Management
- Excellent experience of formulary & patient pathways
- Commercial acumen
- Submission of business proposals and business case submission
