Our client is a family-owned healthcare company who are specialists in iron therapy with an ambition to empower healthcare professionals to provide optimal care for patients suffering from iron deficiency anaemia. They are now looking for an experienced Nurse Clinical Educator to bring the value propositions of their products to life for the clinical stakeholders.
The Clinical Educator role aims to bring clinical expertise to the regional team, assisting specialist customers to increase their knowledge and understanding of the assigned brands, their benefits and use these to grow sales of their products through effective implementation and expansion of appropriate use. This is a commercial role and discussion of brands and related data will all be within product licence.
The Clinical Educator aims to deliver education and technical product support for services in primary and secondary care in line with regional business plans. This includes providing education to health care prescribers and their staff on the proper use of designated treatments for assigned disease area, within the product licence.
As such you will work as part of a regional cross functional field-based team promoting their brands in order to achieve specific objectives in terms of sales & targeted activity. You will support customers to ensure that they are capable of delivering effective therapies to their patients, in the safest possible manner.
Candidate background/experience required:
- Qualified nurse.
- Proven experience in clinical environment ideally with an understanding of iron therapy and/or infusion related products preferable.
- Good understanding and working knowledge of the Pharmaceutical commercial Market and the local Health Service environment.
- Excellent practical knowledge of Specialty and disease area.
- Experience of conducting face to face training to customers.
- Strong planning required with potential occasional overnight stays.
- Ability to identify, influence and build advocacy with customers in key accounts.
- Provides product educational services to customers, including infusion nurses, pharmacists, and physicians.
