Our client is a highly regarded international healthcare company with a strong foothold in the UK Medical dermatology marketplace and has ambitious growth plans for the next few years. They are committed to enhancing the quality of people's lives through their innovative, science-based portfolio of sophisticated brands and services, trusted and recommended by healthcare professionals. It's an exciting time for them as they enter the biologics market in Dermatology with a new asset/mode of action which will be indicated for Atopic Dermatitis and Prurigo Nodularis.

The PRM will maximise advocacy with external experts, through the creation, development and delivery of structured engagement plans and tactics in this critical launch. There is the opportunity to actively contribute towards the Brand Strategy by continually sharing insight from expert engagements that will drive new ideas and initiatives for the Brand Team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and implement a clinical Key Opinion Leader and brand advocacy plan
  • Engage with, develop strong long-term relationships with, and directly manage top tier Key Opinion Leaders and Brand Advocates, Key Rising Stars and professional bodies
  • Leadership, management and delivery of congress activities for the Brand Team, peer-to-peer activities and delivery of advisory boards
  • Brief and motivate the field force on the opinion leader and meetings programme to ensure their buy-in and commitment to the plan
  • Ensure European teams are aware of clinical KOLs and Brand Advocates
  • Provide strategic input to the Head of Marketing and Launch Lead
  • Work with the NHS Market Access Lead to engage with national and regional medical/professional bodies
  • Working with the most influential clinical experts in the UK, the ability to achieve high levels of credibility with national and international experts

Candidate requirements:

  • Previous successful experience managing high-profile KOL relationships at a national level
  • Immunology and preferably Dermatology therapy area with pre-existing relationships in this field
  • Launch Experience in High Cost Drug arena
  • Expert level of understanding the NHS
  • Demonstrable high levels of commercial awareness, and strategic and business acumen
  • Good understanding of brand planning process, marketing concepts and techniques, including experience of utilising the digital channel
  • Positive "can-do" attitude: proactive with a solutions-focussed approach to managing problems
  • Negotiation skills theory and practice
  • Strong numerical and data analysis skills/capability (forecasting and planning)
