The Network Manager will successfully manage Novo Nordisk (NN) CVRM related products at place level (Trust/PCN/Federation) within NHS Integrated Care Systems/Health boards. This is a promotional role accountable for the commercial performance and positioning of NN products through securing sales and local patient access within a geographical territory.
Main Responsibilities
- Drive favourable position for NN products on formularies and within local pathways at place level.
- Drive uptake of products to develop breadth and depth of prescribing to support improved patient outcomes.
- Identify and capture local needs and link the opportunity to improve outcomes.
- Demonstrate the value of NN services/products through commercial value propositions aligned with NHS priorities.
- Support system efficiency to ensure care is delivered within an appropriate setting through disease/brand service activities.
- Act as a portfolio expert with robust clinical and local knowledge, can secure partnerships with place level (PCN/Trust/Federation) decision makers to deliver outcomes that make a difference to patients.
- Support colleagues at ICB/HB level around specific NN products and provide insight into brand usage as required.
- Develop & implement local market access strategies for launch & in-line Novo Nordisk brands.
- Responsible for building and managing account plans at a PCN, trust and federation level.
Experience required
- ABPI qualified with a strong understanding of healthcare landscape, including understanding of the NHS (structures, policies, funding streams and processes).
- Sound working understanding of given territory including stakeholders, locality structures, policies, funding streams and processes.
- Experience of ensuring market access, securing formularies and developing pathways.
- Excellent commercial acumen developed through strong analytical, key account management and business planning skills.
- Demonstrate a high level of therapy area expertise and product knowledge.
- Able to deliver consistently high performance, with a proven track record of delivering client solutions and exceeding sales goals.
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration and partnering skills with demonstrated ability to work effectively in a complex, matrixed environment.
- Excellent communication, with the ability to develop productive partnerships at all levels.
- Confident use of all communication channels to drive efficiencies, share insights and improve customer experience.
- Strong desire to improve patient care.
