Key Account Manager – Urology – South West England & South Wales
Our client is recognized as one of the \”World\’s Best Employers 2021\” by Forbes. Their group is ranked in the Top 3 in the cosmetics industry and in the Top 10 in the pharmaceutical industry worldwide.
They now seek a talented Key Account Manager at the location shown who will be responsible for achieving territory set objectives focused on sales through planning and targeting the customer base of dermatologists, specialist nurses, pharmacists and managers which influence the use of dermatology drugs and services. Additionally, the post holder is responsible for meeting activity targets and accurately recording activity as well as the completion of ad-hoc projects in line with the sales and marketing strategy.
Responsibilities
- Complete business plans to ensure successful management of the territory in line with business objectives set by the National Sales Manager
- Ensure all activity is within internal regulation and ABPI guidance ensuring regular Pharmacovigilance and ABPI updates and assessments
- Recognise and access new local customer groups and individuals who can influence the use of products
- Update and maintain a knowledge of the NHS and market access process to ensure the sales of the promoted brands are maximised and that you are received as the partner of choice for the NHS
- Be able to demonstrate effective cross functional working with all internal departments in order to achieve set objectives
Candidate profile
- Proven track record of success in pharmaceutical sales
- ABPI Certification
- Experience in Dermatology
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Product knowledge, clinical background and NHS knowledge
- Business planning and organisation
- Ability to identify and access all customers in the key account management process
