Key Account Manager – Surgical Sales – Scotland
Our client\’s mission is to champion surgical providers with remarkable service and exceptional products that save time, money, and effort. They deliver a collaborative experience by working directly with the surgical community to ensure they get the exact surgical tools they need at the right time and the right price.
They are now seeking a talented Key Account Manager, covering Scotland with an entrepreneurial spirit who excels in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Build and foster strong KOL and customer relationships within the territory, working alongside Chief Surgeons and Surgeons to support usage of their technologies in the OR
- Be in the OR and departments to present and demonstrate the product while fostering strong relationships with OR stakeholders
- Identify opportunities with new customers and develop tailored solutions dependent upon customer needs
- Manage and grow sales within the existing customer base ensuring customer satisfaction is maintained
- Ensure a high level of product, therapeutic and competitor knowledge
- Liaise with stakeholders such as Pharmacists, Purchase Managers and Admin to manage continuous availability of the product within Trusts and Clinics
- Maintain an in depth understanding of the responsibilities involved in working with NHS and private sector
Candidate requirements:
- Selling into theatres and clinics or experience and existing KOL network in general surgery, neurosurgery, HPB, cardiothoracic, Urosurgery
- Working experience in NHS Trusts and super Trusts
- Knowledge of NHS and the private sector sales cycle is a must
- Haemostasis and/or Biosurgery experience is highly desirable
- Strong numerical and analytical skills to evaluate the commercial approach
- Strong people skills to develop long-lasting customer relationships
- Team player, strong sense of urgency and accountability
