Key Account Manager – Neurology – NW/NE England

Our client is a fast-growing company with a presence in 87 countries across 3 continents and a global strategy. They have settled a series of platforms that enable them to share their common approach to R&D, HR, Marketing and their our company functions.

They are now establishing a global pipeline and introducing important treatments for serious illnesses such as Parkinsons Disease, Cystic Fibrosis, BOS and NCFB.

The primary role of the Key Account Manager the market access, promotion and sales of specified products in priority and key accounts with identified target customers and stakeholders delivering successfully the business objectives through effective and ethical communications with relevant Healthcare Professionals.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop, refine and implement regional business plans(sales/market access/customers/KOL\’s/objectives) in line with national selling and marketing strategy
  • Develop, refine and implement local tactics to implement regional business plans
  • Maintain In-depth knowledge of relevant disease areas, competitor products and local, regional and the national NHS landscape
  • Research, track and review all published relevant territory formulary and shared care protocols
  • Establish and manage high quality customer relationships with all key customer groups (primary and secondary care) including identification and development of local and regional KOL\’s
  • Ensure ongoing face to face, virtual and digital contact activities with key customers utilizing the required channel at the required frequency
  • Arrangement of peer-to-peer/speaker meetings in priority and key accounts where necessary to enable achievement of business objectives

Candidate profile:

  • Experience in pharmaceutical/healthcare environment in a hospital sales related function
  • Expertise and experience in neurology preferrable
  • Exposure to project management principles
  • Experience in Key Opinion Leader Management
  • Excellent understanding of how national and local NHS drivers influence local healthcare priorities
  • Customer and results oriented mindset
  • Entrepreneurial with a positive and collaborative attitude
  • Highly competent in demonstrating effective influencing skills through strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills (active listening, empathy and public speaking)
  • Cross-functional team player with strong networking capabilities
  • Agile mindset

Salary is negotiable and dependent on experience, but an excellent bonus benefits package will also be offered.
