Key Account Manager – Dermatology – Scottish Borders & North East England

Due to an exciting expansion of their Primary Care team, we have a new opportunity for a Biologics Account Manager.

You will have full accountability for the business and achieve agreed sales targets through effective planning, influencing and execution, ensuring that our customers and patients benefit from their products and achieve healthy skin. Operating with the highest standard will ensure you reinforce their reputation of as a leader in the field of Dermatology.

Your responsibilities will include the following:

  • Accountability for managing the dermatology business on your territory and you will be expected to conduct calls with customers using a combination of face-to-face, remote and omnichannel marketing to achieve agreed sales targets and business objectives
  • Drive sales growth through direct promotional activity, market access and advocacy development with stakeholders across primary, secondary and the broader health care economy including at Health Board level
  • Development and maintenance of high-quality account plans updated regularly in Veeva CRM and tailored to deliver business goals within identified account geography
  • Cultivate productive and collaborative relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to realise business outcomes in the short, medium and long term to ensure sales success and preparation for future launches while generating expertise of the local health economy

This company provides first-class marketing support and will see you having local responsibility for deploying additional resources such as PR and additional promotional channels to increase market share. In the Dermatology Team you will get the opportunity to shape the future and help people with skin diseases live more fulfilling lives by advancing the standard of care.

Successful candidates will have a proven track record in Key Account Management and be able to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines. In addition, you must be able to demonstrate strategic thinking and show drive, creativity, flexibility, commitment and strong interpersonal skills.

We are also keen to hear from commercially minded graduate calibre candidates seeking their first role in Pharmaceutical sales.
