Health Outcomes Partner – Pharma – Hertfordshire/Home based

They now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Health Outcomes Partner.
Key responsibilities include:
- Understands evidence needs across the product lifecycle
- Critically appraises clinical trial designs and anticipated evidence delivery plans to identify evidence gaps specific for the UK and develop appropriate evidence generation solutions for access
- Utilises health economic models to identify value drivers of decision making to identify appropriate evidence generation solutions for access
- Leads the execution of real-world evidence studies
- Selects vendors based on a critical assessment of proposals and oversees vendors in the execution of real-world studies
- Contributes to the overall access strategy to ensure optimal patient access
- Develops strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Takes a prominent role in cross-functional teams
- Strong stakeholder collaboration within affiliate, global and cross-affiliate
- Ability to interpret, tailor and communicate outputs in a compelling manner to all stakeholders
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of UK reimbursement processes and evidence requirements
Candidate requirements:
- Post-graduate degree in health economics, statistics, life sciences or related field
- Detailed understanding of the role of HEOR within the NHS and pharmaceutical industry, including a deep understanding of the methods, processes and timelines of UK reimbursement processes
- Ability to develop and execute payer evidence generation strategies for specific brands or above-brand projects in support of national reimbursement in a timely, high quality and fit-for-purpose manner
- Ability to design, implement and manage payer evidence generation projects (including RWE) either through internal capability (Country Clinical Ops) or through effective selection and management of external vendors
- Ability to collaborate and communicate with cross-functional teams, and to work at a strategic level within cross-functional team
- High quality demonstrable technical writing and communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical data into understandable language tailored to the relevant stakeholders
Successful individuals in this role are expected to be highly motivated and enthusiastic, possessing a strong technical understanding and skillset of health economic and real world evidence research and application, with exceptional attention to detail. They have a passion for creating high-quality deliverables which support in critically evaluating and demonstrating the value of our medicines to national and sub-national payers and related stakeholders. They will actively engage in all stages of access evidence development, including early exploration of pipeline plans to identify evidence gaps; economic model review and assessment of value drivers; real world evidence study design and implementation; and effective communication of findings internally and externally.
