The Opportunity
We are seeking a Sales & Marketing Director to lead integrated commercial strategies with a primary focus on marketing excellence and a strong international remit. This hybrid role (head office in Surrey) combines strategic leadership with hands‑on execution, driving portfolio growth and supporting sales performance of the Sales Manager and Product Specialists through effective coaching and collaboration. You will provide second‑line leadership for a small, international in‑field team, ensuring strong development and accountability.
You will define and deliver marketing strategies for established brands while preparing for upcoming launches, ensuring alignment between brand positioning, customer insights, and field activity. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and bring a global mindset to portfolio management and market development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead marketing strategy and execution for established brands and new launches across multiple markets.
- Manage and develop a marketing team, including two Brand Managers, fostering excellence and innovation.
- Drive sales performance of the Sales Manager and Product Specialists, providing leadership and development for a small, international team.
- Define and implement growth strategies, including lifecycle management and market expansion.
- Translate market intelligence into actionable plans and differentiated value propositions.
- Foster cross‑functional collaboration across sales, marketing, and medical teams.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable pharmaceutical regulations and ethical standards.
- Manage budgets with a disciplined, growth‑oriented approach.
