- Day Shifts Only including every other Saturday – no nights, great work-life balance.
- Location: Easily commutable from Wolverhampton, Walsall, Wednesbury, Tipton & surrounding West Midlands areas.
You’ll play a key role in keeping production lines running smoothly, minimising downtime, and ensuring all equipment is maintained to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhering to all Health & Safety on Site.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on production equipment.
- Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults.
- Support continuous improvement projects to boost reliability and efficiency.
- Work closely with production teams to resolve breakdowns quickly and minimise disruption.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations.
- Accurately record maintenance activities and keep records up to date.
Skillset required:
- Time-served Engineer with a recognised qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Confident fault-finding across both electrical and mechanical systems.
- Maintenance Experience.
- Electrical Qualifications Desirable.
- Hydraulics and Pneumatics.
- Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing or FMCG environment.
- A proactive problem solver with a hands-on approach.
- Flexible and reliable with the ability to thrive in a team environment.
