Chase Taylor are working on behalf of a leading fenestration business seeking an experienced Estimator & Order Processor to join their busy sales and customer experience team. The role plays a key part in delivering accurate quotations, order confirmations, and technical documentation to both new and existing trade customers within a fast-paced environment. You will support the wider sales function by ensuring all customer requirements are translated accurately into quotations and production-ready orders, while maintaining strong communication, attention to detail, and a high level of customer service throughout the order lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Process customer quotes and orders accurately and within required timescales.
- Produce, amend, and issue quotations and order confirmations.
- Prepare and annotate paperwork prior to manufacture to ensure technical accuracy.
- Communicate with customers and suppliers regarding queries, technical advice, and order updates.
- Chase and follow up order confirmations and outstanding customer responses.
- Handle incoming enquiries and provide timely, professional responses.
- Maintain regular communication with customers to provide updates and strengthen relationships.
- Update schedules, spreadsheets, and internal systems daily.
- Ensure all work meets agreed targets and deadlines.
- Deliver a high level of accuracy when producing quotations and order documentation.
- Liaise effectively with internal departments including Sales, Production, and Logistics.
About You / Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in estimating or order processing within the fenestration industry (ideally aluminium windows and doors).
- Knowledge of aluminium products and systems is highly desirable.
- Experience using estimating software such as LogiKal or V6 (or similar systems).
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, customer surveys, and section plans.
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of numerical accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Confident working independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Competent user of Microsoft Office packages including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong customer service skills with a professional and proactive approach.
