We are currently seeking an experienced Window and Door Service Engineer. This field-based position involves attending customers’ homes throughout Wiltshire to diagnose and carry out remedial repairs on a wide range of glazing products.
As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for ensuring a high standard of workmanship and customer satisfaction while resolving issues with windows, doors, locks, hinges, and associated glazing components.
Key Responsibilities:- Attend customer sites to assess and complete repairs on faulty glazing products (including uPVC, aluminium windows and doors).
- Diagnose faults accurately and carry out repairs efficiently and professionally.
- Adjust and replace hardware components such as locks, handles, hinges, seals, and glazing units.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used.
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with customers, providing excellent customer service.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company procedures.
- Proven experience in a similar role within the window and door industry.
- Strong knowledge of glazing systems, repair methods, and installation standards.
- Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Full UK driving licence (clean preferred).
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
