Chase Taylor Recruitment are working on behalf of a well-established manufacturing company within the window and door sector. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing, fast-paced business where you will play a key role within a small but dynamic IT team. The position offers a high level of variety, responsibility, and the chance to contribute to ongoing system improvements and projects across multiple sites.
Working Hours
- 37.5 hours per week
- Monday to Friday
- 08:00 – 16:30
- Regular travel to other sites required
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Support
- Provide support via an internal ticketing system
- Troubleshoot day-to-day IT issues within a production environment
- Support PCs, peripherals, barcode scanners, and display systems
- Infrastructure Support
- Maintain and support server and network systems
- Work alongside an external MSP at 2nd/3rd line support level
- Projects & Systems Development
- Assist in the implementation of new systems and services
- Support ongoing improvements to existing IT infrastructure
- Contribute to project delivery across the business
- Systems Configuration
- Configure, administer, and maintain bespoke MRP and manufacturing systems
Person Specification
- Experience across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd line IT support
- Previous experience supporting MRP systems within a manufacturing environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach
- Flexible, adaptable, and willing to learn new systems
- Full UK driving licence (essential due to travel requirements)
