We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Order Processor to join a busy windows and doors company. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately processing customer orders from receipt through to production, ensuring specifications, pricing, and lead times are correct. This role is office-based and plays a critical part in ensuring smooth communication between sales, production, and installation teams.
Responsibilities
- Process orders for windows and doors accurately and efficiently
- Review sales contracts, drawings, and specifications to ensure correctness
- Input orders into internal systems, ensuring all dimensions, finishes, and hardware details are correct
- Liaise with sales teams, surveyors, and production to resolve any discrepancies
- Confirm lead times and delivery schedules
- Amend orders as required and communicate changes clearly to relevant departments
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for each order
- Provide internal support and respond to order-related queries
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in an Order Processor, Sales Administrator, or similar role
- Experience within the windows, doors, or construction industry is highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Confident using order processing systems and Microsoft Office
- Ability to manage multiple orders simultaneously and work to deadlines
- Strong communication and organisational skills
