We are currently recruiting for a specialist fenestration testing company operating across new build housing developments. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a reliable On-Site Spray Tester to carry out water spray testing on installed windows and doors across active construction sites. This role would suit someone with experience in window installation, glazing, or construction site work, looking to move into a specialised testing role within the fenestration sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out on-site water spray testing of installed windows and doors on new build housing developments.
- Ensure installations meet required performance and quality standards.
- Accurately record and report test results.
- Liaise with site managers, installers, and contractors during testing.
- Travel to different housing developments as required.
- Maintain testing equipment and follow all health and safety procedures.
Requirements
- Experience within the window, door, glazing, or fenestration industry is desirable.
- Previous experience as a window installer, window fitter, glazier, or site technician would be beneficial.
- CSCS Card required (if you do not currently hold one, the company can support you in obtaining it).
- Comfortable working on active construction sites.
- Full UK driving licence preferred.
- Good attention to detail and ability to complete reports accurately.
- Reliable and able to work independently.
