We are working with a leading supplier and installer of high-quality steel door sets, screens, and entrance systems used in commercial building projects across the UK. They are currently looking to expand their team and employ a Junior Sales Estimator who is motivated and eager to grow in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. You’ll be at the heart of the project pricing process, helping to turn client ideas into costed, achievable proposals.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Quotation & Cost Estimation: Prepare accurate cost estimates and generate professional quotations based on client specs and drawings.
  • Research & Procurement: Source up-to-date pricing for materials, labour, and transport; liaise with trusted suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Client & Team Collaboration: Communicate with clients to clarify details and coordinate with our sales, engineering, and procurement teams.
  • Project Support: Assist with bids, prepare paperwork, and occasionally visit sites to better understand project requirements.
  • Record Keeping & Analysis: Maintain detailed records and help monitor project costs to ensure they stay on track.

What We’re Looking For

  • A keen eye for detail and a methodical approach to work.
  • Strong communication skills — confident talking to clients and colleagues alike.
  • Basic understanding of construction drawings or willingness to learn.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel a must!).
  • Enthusiasm to learn about estimating, materials, and the commercial construction process.
