We are working with a leading manufacturer and supplier of high-performance insulated glass panels, delivering innovative façade and glazing solutions to commercial construction projects across the UK. The products are specified in a wide range of sectors including commercial offices, education, healthcare, and large-scale mixed-use developments.
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and technically capable Commercial Sales Manager to drive specification sales and develop key relationships across the South East and South West regions. This role focuses on engaging with architects, specifiers, consultants, and main contractors to secure project specifications and grow market share.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a regional sales strategy targeting commercial construction projects
- Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, specifiers, façade consultants, and contractors
- Secure product specifications at early project stages to drive downstream sales
- Provide technical advice and support on insulated glass panel systems
- Deliver CPD presentations and technical briefings to architectural practices
- Track and manage project pipelines from specification through to order
- Collaborate with internal technical, estimating, and production teams
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends within the façade and glazing sector
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in a specification sales role within construction or building materials
- Strong technical knowledge of façade systems, glazing, or insulated panel products
- Demonstrable experience working with architects, specifiers, and consultants
- Established network within the South East and/or South West construction markets
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Commercially astute with strong negotiation skills
- Self-motivated and able to manage a regional territory effectively
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Background in glazing, curtain walling, cladding, or façade systems
- Experience delivering CPDs to architectural audiences
- Knowledge of UK building regulations and performance standards (thermal, acoustic, fire)
