Chase Taylor Recruitment are working on behalf of a growing and established specialist within the aluminium and steel door industry, who are looking to recruit an experienced Project Manager to join their team. This is a hands-on project management role, responsible for managing projects from order through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, to specification and to the required quality standards. The successful candidate must have direct experience within the aluminium or steel door industry, with a strong understanding of door systems, installation and the practical requirements involved in delivering specialist door projects. You will act as a key point of contact between clients, contractors, subcontract installers and internal teams, with regular site visits required. Key Responsibilities * Manage projects from order through to completion, including programmes, deadlines and deliverables. * Act as the main point of contact for clients, contractors and subcontract installers. * Coordinate subcontract installation teams and monitor site progress. * Carry out regular site visits, resolving technical, installation and project issues. * Manage client queries, variations, expectations and project updates. * Identify potential delays, technical issues and commercial risks at an early stage. * Coordinate information between clients, site and internal technical, estimating, purchasing and installation teams. Essential Experience * Direct experience within the aluminium and/or steel door industry is essential. * Strong knowledge of aluminium and steel doors, door systems and installation. * Previous experience as a Contracts Manager, Project Manager, Site Manager or similar. * Experience managing specialist construction or door installation projects. * Experience working with subcontract installers. * System-based aluminium or steel door experience would be highly advantageous. The Ideal Candidate We are looking for a confident and organised project professional who can take ownership of multiple projects and manage them effectively from start to finish. You will need to be comfortable dealing directly with clients and contractors, carrying out site visits and resolving issues independently. Strong communication skills, commercial awareness and excellent attention to detail are essential. Working Arrangement This is a hybrid position, with approximately 1–2 days per week in the office, alongside regular site visits and home working as required. Salary £40,000–£45,000 per annum, depending on experience and suitability for the role.
