Chase Taylor Recruitment is working with a fantastic business that manufactures and installs Roller Garage Doors. Due to their continued success and commitment to ensuring their products are installed to the highest standards, they are recruiting for a Technical Support Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.

The role will involve providing technical support and training to their Installation Teams in the field, ensuring quality standards are continuously improved and customer expectations are exceeded. This will include providing actionable feedback to Installers and the business to highlight quality concerns and drive further improvements.

Role responsibilities:

  • Support the provision of a Quality & Technical Support Help Line on a Rota with other Engineers
  • Provide Field training & quality audits for Franchisees, working away for a week at a time on a Rota basis with other engineers
  • Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on faults and failures to reach robust solutions
  • Support development of training and online courses for new Doors, their components and additional products
  • Ensure key safety & operating standards are consistently met

Candidate skills & experience:

  • Must have current or recent experience working within a similar role
  • Have excellent knowledge of door installations, the process and troubleshooting
  • Be able to self-motivate & have a proactive approach to troubleshooting
  • Strong communication skills
  • Provide outstanding customer service
  • Have a UK driving license
