As a Technical Order Processor, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and accurate processing of customer orders using Window Designer software. From reading technical specifications to translating them into precise production-ready designs using CAD, you'll be at the heart of our operations.
The role responsibilities:
- Manage and support technical queries via phone and email within company guidelines.
- Review tender/specification documents and liaise with customers.
- Conduct a take-off drawing exercise and produce a window and door schedule complete with product specification, to allow the customer care team to process orders and quotations.
- Liaise with Suppliers for the introduction of new parts, issue drawings for subcontracted frames, and support the quality process.
- Provide phone help and support to internal and external customers for fitting/installation issues on site.
- Give technical assistance to all departments when needed.
Candidate’s skills & experience:
- Have a strong background in a technical order processing role or something similar within the window and door industry.
- Able to understand technical requirements, product enquiries and process effectively and accurately.
- Knowledge of Windows Designer and AutoCAD.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A proactive, solution-focused attitude.
