About the Role We are seeking an experienced Surveyor to join a leading windows and doors specialist covering Hertfordshire, Essex, and the surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional Surveyor with a strong background in surveying and installation to work on high-quality projects in a permanent role. Key Responsibilities: * Arrange and attend appointments with customers to carry out surveys. * Review contracts and discuss design and installation choices with clients. * Conduct accurate surveys to determine manufacturing sizes and ensure a perfect fit. * Assess the suitability of existing openings, including structural support and ventilation. * Identify any discrepancies between contracts sold and work to be completed. * Liaise with the Contracts Manager regarding any alterations to contracts. * Produce detailed survey documentation to enable order processing and installation. * Determine required materials and components based on survey findings. Skills & Qualifications: * Previous experience in fenestration surveying. * Specialised knowledge of sliding sash window installation. * Strong understanding of current Building Regulations. * Methodical, accurate, and detail-oriented work ethic. * Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Good knowledge of the fenestration and glazing industry. * Computer literate.
