Service Engineer / Onsite Support Engineer Location: West Midlands (covering regional sites) Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 DOE Chase Taylor Recruitment are working on behalf of a well-established uPVC conservatory installation company who are looking to recruit an experienced Service Engineer / Onsite Support Engineer to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional with a strong background in uPVC windows, doors, and conservatory installations, who enjoys providing technical support, fault finding, and delivering high-quality solutions for customers across the West Midlands. The Role: As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for attending customer sites, diagnosing issues, carrying out repairs, and providing technical support across a range of uPVC products. You will play a key role in maintaining the company’s reputation for quality and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: • Attend onsite visits across the West Midlands to investigate and resolve technical issues • Diagnose and repair faults with uPVC windows, doors, and conservatory installations • Carry out adjustments, replacements, and remedial works where required • Provide expert technical support and advice to customers • Identify installation issues and recommend effective solutions • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with company expectations • Complete service reports and communicate findings back to the wider team • Represent the company professionally when attending customer properties The Ideal Candidate: • Proven experience working with uPVC windows, doors, and conservatories (essential) • Strong knowledge of installation, servicing, adjustments, and repairs • Previous experience in a service engineer, installation engineer, or field-based role • Excellent problem-solving and fault-finding skills • Confident working independently while managing your own schedule • Strong customer service and communication skills • Full UK driving licence required Package: Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 depending on experience Location: Covering the West Midlands Company vehicle and equipment provided Long-term opportunity with an established business If you have hands-on experience within the uPVC windows, doors, and conservatory sector and are looking for your next career move, we would love to hear from you
