We are excited to be representing a German, family owned, prestigious window and door hardware manufacturer, Winkhaus. They are looking for an experienced forward-thinking Sales Director to lead and drive sales performance across all market areas, ensuring a culture of accountability, innovation, customer-centricity, and growth. You will bring strategic thinking, operational sales discipline, and commercial leadership to an established sales team. This role requires a hands-on leader who combines data-driven insight with people management excellence, capable of setting long-term direction while delivering short-term results.
Role Overview
This person will be responsible for leading the national sales team, driving commercial strategy, developing new business, and improving sales performance. The individual will play a key role in customer relationships and work closely with Product development and Marketing teams.
Key Responsibilities:
β Lead and coach the national sales team across multiple sectors
β Deliver sales strategy, planning, forecasting, and commercial execution
β Build and nurture strategic relationships with key customers and partners
β Collaborate with Customer Services, Product, and Marketing to align customer journey and propositions
β Implement and promote CRM usage and data-led sales performance
β Contribute to senior management decision-making and business planning
β Assess and shape future sales structure including potential team expansion
Candidate Profile β Skills and Experience
We are targeting candidates with at least 5 years of senior sales leadership experience in B2B technical distribution environments. Candidates must have experience in door hardware, fenestration, or closely aligned sectors.
The candidate should demonstrate:
β Commercial strategy development and execution
β CRM and digital tools implementation (especially Excel fluency)
β Leadership of experienced, mature sales teams
β Cross-functional collaboration with Customer Services, Product, and Marketing
