As part of their growth plan, they wish to appoint a Sales Manager to develop their sales function, leading a team of experienced Sales Consultants.
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented people manager who enjoys developing teams whilst leading from the front.
They will be responsible for helping to create a positive sales culture whilst ensuring an excellent customer experience throughout each stage of the sales process.
You will work closely with the Director to shape the company’s sales strategy as well as managing all day-to-day sales operations.
This position is integral to the exciting plans the company’s has for growing the business and they are looking for a true manager who can support, coach, and develop a small sales team to maximise leads and convert sales opportunities whilst maintaining margins.
The Opportunity You will take ownership of the day-to-day management of the sales team, providing leadership, structure, and support to help individuals achieve their full potential.
Working closely with the wider business, you will be responsible for driving sales strategies, analysing performance, improving conversion rates, and ensuring the team has the tools and support needed to succeed.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, motivate, and develop a small retail sales team
- Conduct regular 1-to-1 meetings, coaching sessions, and performance reviews
- Support team members with personal development and career progression
- Monitor sales performance through reporting, KPIs, and data analysis
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to support business growth
- Work closely with marketing to support campaigns and maximise opportunities
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and commercial planning
- Identify areas for improvement across the sales process and customer journey
- Provide hands-on leadership by working alongside the sales team
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training initiatives About You We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager, Sales Team Leader, or Senior Sales professional who has a proven track record of managing and developing a team.
You will be a natural leader who enjoys coaching and mentoring others, with the ability to build strong relationships and create a positive team culture.
You will be commercially focused, organised, and confident using data and reporting to improve performance.
Experience within retail sales, home improvements, windows, doors, conservatories, or a similar customer-focused environment would be highly beneficial.
