Commercial Estimator in Manchester

Chase Taylor Recruitment are working with an established and growing business within the fenestration sector, who are looking to recruit an experienced Commercial Estimator to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced estimator with a strong background in uPVC windows and doors, looking to take the next step in their career within a commercially focused business. The Role As a Commercial Estimator, you will be responsible for producing accurate and competitive quotations for a range of commercial uPVC window and door projects. You will work closely with customers, suppliers, sales, production and operations teams to ensure projects are accurately priced and commercially viable. Key responsibilities include: * Producing detailed estimates and quotations for commercial uPVC window and door projects * Reviewing drawings, specifications and project requirements * Calculating material, labour and associated project costs * Obtaining and reviewing supplier pricing * Liaising with customers and suppliers to clarify requirements * Identifying commercial opportunities and potential project risks * Managing multiple enquiries and deadlines * Supporting projects from initial enquiry through to order * Working closely with production and operations teams * Ensuring all quotations are accurate, competitive and commercially viable About You The successful candidate will ideally have: * Previous experience as a Commercial Estimator within the fenestration industry * Strong knowledge of uPVC windows and doors * Experience estimating for commercial projects * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications * Strong commercial and numerical awareness * Excellent attention to detail * Good communication and organisational skills * Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines * A proactive approach and strong work ethic * Experience with fenestration estimating or pricing software would be advantageous What's on Offer? * £40,000 – £45,000 salary, depending on experience * Opportunity to join an established and growing business * Varied commercial uPVC window and door projects * Supportive working environment * Long-term career development opportunities If you're an experienced Commercial Estimator with a strong background in uPVC windows and doors and are looking for your next opportunity, we'd love to hear from you.
