Window and door fitting experience is required. We are looking for an experienced Window Fitter / Window & Door Installer to join a team on a self-employed basis, working as part of a two-person fitting team across the Halesowen and Sandwell areas. This is a great opportunity for an experienced fitter looking for regular work within the domestic sector, working directly in homeowners’ properties as well as on local authority contracts.
The Role
- Installing windows and doors within domestic properties.
- Working on both homeowner and local authority contracts.
- Removing existing windows and doors where required.
- Installing uPVC windows and doors to a high standard.
- Working as part of a two-person fitting team.
- Ensuring installations are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Maintaining a clean and professional working environment within customers’ homes.
- Following relevant health and safety procedures.
- Representing the company professionally when working with homeowners and local authority customers.
Requirements
- Window and door fitting experience is essential.
- Proven experience fitting windows and doors.
- Experience working within the domestic sector.
- Good attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a two-person team.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- A full UK driving licence is preferred.
- Own window fitting tools are essential.
- A reliable and professional approach to work.
Driving arrangements: We are open to either two qualified fitters, or one experienced driver/fitter working alongside a competent fitter’s mate.
