Location: Leatherhead, Surrey Job Type: Permanent, Full Time Industry: Window & Door / Fenestration An established business within the window and door industry is looking for an experienced Operations & Installation Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day operations and installation function. This is a hands-on management position overseeing installation teams while also taking responsibility for planning, stock, ordering, deliveries, suppliers, customers and health & safety. The ideal candidate will have strong fenestration experience, excellent organisational skills and the confidence to take ownership and make decisions. Key Responsibilities * Manage and oversee the installation teams and day-to-day operations * Plan installation schedules, workloads and resources * Coordinate surveyors, installers, suppliers and customers * Monitor projects from order through to delivery and installation * Ensure installations are completed on time and to the required standards * Manage snagging, remedial works and follow-up requirements * Oversee stock control, warehouse organisation and materials * Place supplier orders and monitor them through to delivery * Coordinate deliveries with installation schedules * Resolve supplier, delivery and product issues * Take responsibility for health & safety across operations and installation * Coordinate multiple projects and identify potential delays * Ensure projects are fully prepared before installers attend site * Support improvements to operational processes and systems The Ideal Candidate * Previous experience managing installation teams or contractors * Strong experience within the window, door or glazing industry * Good knowledge of window and door products and installation processes * Experience with stock, ordering, suppliers and deliveries * Strong planning and organisational skills * Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities * Good understanding of health & safety * Practical, hands-on approach with strong attention to detail * Confident taking ownership and making decisions * Good IT and administrative skills This is a great opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager, Installation Manager, Contracts Manager or Senior Installation professional looking for their next challenge within the fenestration industry.
