CHASE TAYLOR RECRUITMENT are currently working on behalf of a leading manufacturing business who are looking to recruit an experienced Electrical / Mechanical Site Maintenance Engineer to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a multi-skilled maintenance engineer with strong electrical and mechanical experience to join a well-established and growing organisation.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining production machinery, carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and responding to breakdowns to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
THE ROLE
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all site machinery and facilities are maintained to a high standard, supporting production through both reactive and planned maintenance activities. The role requires a proactive approach to fault finding, repairs, installations and continuous improvement, ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with current legislation and industry standards. There will also be a requirement to travel to an additional company site on a regular basis using a company vehicle.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Carry out electrical and mechanical diagnostics, maintenance and repair of production machinery and associated equipment.
