An established and respected manufacturer and installer of aluminium windows, doors, and curtain walling is looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to join their growing team. Supplying tier 1 building contractors for high-profile commercial new builds, the business has secured over 12 months of work in hand and is expanding to meet demand. A vacancy has arisen due to the retirement of the current Contracts Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with proven industry experience and strong site management skills to take ownership of multiple projects and ensure delivery to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee projects on-site and in the factory, managing day-to-day operations
  • Issue RAMS and Method Statements
  • Take responsibility for Health & Safety at site level
  • Manage subcontract fixing teams
  • Liaise closely with an on-site, full-time Site Supervisor
  • Manage programmes and work collaboratively with main contractor site management
  • Maintain quality control standards across projects
  • Call off deliveries in line with programme requirements

Candidate skills & experiences:

  • Have current or recent experience working within a similar role in the window and door industry.
  • Technical knowledge of aluminium windows, doors, and curtain walling is essential
  • SMSTS qualification and significant site experience required
  • Gold or Black CSCS card
  • Familiarity with the Technal system would be advantageous
