We are working on behalf of a well-established, market-leading specialist in orangeries, conservatories, garden rooms, glazed extensions, living spaces, and aluminium window and door systems. As the business continues to expand, they are looking to appoint an experienced Commercial Surveyor to strengthen their technical team.
The role offers a competitive salary, company vehicle, 22 days’ holiday, pension scheme, health cash plan, hybrid working options, employee incentives, staff discounts, and social events.
You will take ownership of the Commercial surveying process across both new-build and refurbishment projects, playing a key role in verifying technical details, supporting accurate order progression, and ensuring a seamless handover to production. Occasional travel to remote sites may be required.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct on-site inspections of windows, doors, glazing, and structures, accurately recording measurements for new products.
- Identify and document site-specific issues, interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Ensure compliance with building regulations, industry standards, company procedures, and contracts.
- Produce accurate drawings and schedules for customer sign-off prior to production.
- Monitor project costs and timelines, obtaining approvals for any changes.
- Experience in window surveying, glazing, or a related technical surveying role.
- NVQ Level 3 in Window Surveying and CSCS Gold Card.
- Knowledge of commercial glazing systems, building regulations, and industry standards.
- Physically fit.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- AutoCAD experience.
- Full UK driving licence.
